We are a small dress shop on Kuhio Highway in Lihue, and we have been dressing Kauaʻi for a while now.
The shop is owner-run, which matters more than it sounds. The person who chose the dress you are looking at is the same person who answers the phone, and the same person who will tell you if a style runs small before you order it. That is the one thing a shop this size can offer that a larger one cannot.
What we carry
Dresses, mostly. Resort and beach styles that pack flat and shake out wrinkle-free, tropical florals in every scale from a whisper to a statement, softer pieces for weddings on the sand and garden receptions, and plain good sundresses for a Tuesday. Alongside them we keep apparel, gifts, and Hawaiian-themed accessories — the sort of thing you pick up for a friend back home and then end up keeping.
We stock XXS through XXXL. Cotton and linen do most of the work, because anything else is a poor argument in August.
How we choose
Everything on this site has been through the shop. If a fabric goes limp after one wash, if a strap digs, if a print looks nothing like it did on the hanger — it does not make the cut. That is the whole method. It is not sophisticated, but it is the reason people come back.
Come in if you are nearby
